The overall goal of this sub-committee is to bring awareness about Greenbuild to the community and to engage the local area to participate in the event. This group is responsible for facilitating conference and event outreach on a regional level. The sub-committee will also be an important intermediary between the U.S. Green Building Council and the Boston community. The sub-committee members will serve as the local Boston PR resource, work to develop relationships with media spokespeople, be responsible for on-site VIP reception and acknowledgement, as well as provide staffing in the press room at Greenbuild.
The following sub-committee groups will carryout PR and community outreach work in various areas: Media, Event Outreach, Event Planning, Put up or Shut up, Playing with Power, Boston Public and Vocational School Outreach.
