The objective of the Bioregional Partners Sub-committee is to identify, create and/or strengthen relationships with Bioregional Partners who will assist the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in the promotion of Greenbuild activities. The primary reason for establishing Bioregional Partners is to provide cross-marketing opportunities between the organization and the USGBC's Greenbuild conference. The long-term agenda is to strengthen relationships between regional organizations for long-term collaboration, and increase awareness about the USGBC and local chapters. Members of the sub-committee will work with USGBC to finalize the list of Bioregional Partners and then will be responsible for coordinating with the organizations to describe the partner arrangement and collect the organization's press information to be included in the conference publications.
